Organic Silver Needle (Yinzhen) White Tea
Our organic Silver Needle (also called Bai Hao Yin Zhen) is the premium grade of classic white tea made from only the first flush spring buds of the tea plant. Our Silver Needle leaves are hand harvested from Fujian, China’s unique Fuding Da Hao Chinese varietal of tea plant that is prized for its large silvery buds and delicious sweet flavor. Take the time to smell the sweet leaf aroma as the tea is brewing. Be sure to brew with an infuser or in a pot that allows room for the tea leaves to expand in the water.
How to Prepare Silver Needle White Tea
Heat water (filtered if possible) to a boil and allow to cool to 185˚F. Add one rounded teaspoon loose leaf tea per cup (apprx. 8 ounces). Infuse the tea leaves for 3–5 minutes depending on taste preference. Can be infused 2-3 times.
