Lemon Spice tea enlivens the senses and strengthens many of the bodies systems. This caffeine-free blend of citron herbs and spice brings together some of the most popular health enhancing ingredients together into a lemon tea that can be drunk as both a warming hot tea and a cooling iced tea. Lemongrass and lemon myrtle are known for their curative properties. They are helpful in the treatment of indigestion, and as an antirheumatic. Ginger has a calming effect on the digestive system. Peppermint is cooling and relaxing.
Many of our teas have attracted a following with particular customers. Every two weeks or so these customers appear in our shop and stock up on 4-8 oz. of their favorite tea for the next couple of weeks of tea drinking. One of our favorite customers is a Lemon Spice "regular". As we've been loading up one tea description after another on our website to be able to order them online, she has noticed that Lemon Spice wasn't listed. We told her we were delaying making Lemon Spice available on the internet because we didn't want her regular visits to the shop to end over the convenience of ordering online. She assured us she would still stop by and check up on us regardless, so we're now able to confidently put this wonderful tea up on the website for everyone to enjoy.
Start with cold (filtered, if possible) water and heat to a low boil, add one generous teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup (apprx. 8 ounces). Infuse the tea for 3–5 minutes depending on taste preference.
