Organic South African Honeybush Tea
This naturally sweet, mellow and deep red herbal “tea” is not made from tea-leaves but from a bush that has been cultivated by the indigenous people of South Africa for hundreds of years. Our organic Honeybush is caffeine-free and has many of the same health benefits attributed to Rooibos "teas" also from South Africa. Honeybush makes a soothing and delicious hot botanical infusion or a wonderful iced tea.
Organic Honeybush has a full bodied, red infusion with a woody, earthy and mineral-rich flavor. Honeybush tea is an herbal infusion that is low in tannins and each cup contains healthy anti-oxidents,
along with minerals such as: Calcium, Copper, Iron, Potassium, Magnesium,
Manganese and Zinc. The aroma and smooth, sweet finish is one of a kind.
PREPARATION: Heat water to 212˚F and add one generous teaspoon loose leaf tea per cup (apprx. 8 ounces). Infuse the tea for 4–5 minutes depending on taste preference. Can be infused 2-3 times.
