
Maybe the best way to describe this tea is to quote one of our customers - "It's amazing, like a cup of hot chocolate without all the extra calories and caffeine." Personally, we don't find the chocolate and hint of vanilla flavors to be quite that strong. The medium bodied black tea holds up well to the chocolate notes and helps create a tea blend that is both a pick-me-up and a bit of an indulgent treat. A great midmorning or afternoon tea.
PREPARATION: Heat water to a boil 212˚F and add one teaspoon loose leaf tea per cup (apprx. 8 ounces). Infuse the tea leaves for 3–4 minutes depending on taste preference. Drink plain or with milk and a sweetener if so desired. Rumor has it that a small dab of whipped cream on the top makes for a wonderful after dinner tea dessert beverage.
